Monitor Only Mode

Monitor only mode provides an extra layer of security by preventing access to critical parameters once a show is set up or in progress.

Go to Tools > Monitor only mode to turn monitor only mode on or off. When monitor only mode is on, a banner appears in the toolbar:

Monitor only mode is particularly useful for events where a cross-functional team is responsible for setting up the show. Monitoring of the show can be seamlessly handed off from the configuration team to the monitoring team with lower risk of someone accidentally changing a critical parameter.

Some functionality of the toolbar and the tabs remains active in monitor only mode:
Toolbar
The toolbar remains accessible except for the Add new device option.
Inventory tab
Flash all devices, sorting, and filters remain active.
Frequency coordination tab
The RF spectrum plot can be monitored, all coordination parameters are disabled.
Monitor tab
Control parameters are disabled, arranging and sorting of property windows remains active.
Show files
Show files can be loaded, but online device settings take precedence.

Monitor Only Mode Lock

Set a PIN to secure monitor only mode. In the event of a reboot, you can safely reload a show file, including any monitor views you've laid out. If you close Wireless Workbench in monitor only mode, it reopens in the same state.

To add a PIN, go to Tools > Preferences and select Add PIN in the Access control section.
